what's in our parents mind

one night, i heard my dad sang a song alone in living rom. i asked him: "what song is it?" he answered: "it's Putri Silitonga Song, the title is Uju Dingolukkon Ma Nian". And then he told me what the song tells about... the song is from Medan - North Sumatera, West Indonesia. The song tells about an old parent who had realized that she was growing as a decrepit. She feels that her time on earth are shorter now...

(tradition when people die in  South Sumatra, if they die in victory>> means  prosperous, wealthy, and rich, the family should celebrate the death)

There's also no use by giving the best thing for me

Asa tarida sasude
Holong ni rohami, namarnatua-tua i

So, for you who still have a pair of parents, or just one left... When they're get older and weak, actually they don't want to make difficulties for you, but that just what they are now. They want you to beatified by us. They may not say what they really want, when you get too busy with your job, your spouse, and all your own bussiness.... Could you remember the time when you were an infant... when all you can do is crying :) love your parents now before it's too late...
